What adhesive should I get?

There is no one best adhesive for any stylist, so options are great to have. A nice guideline is:

Designer: For artists in low humidity, under 35% who want a strong holding, super fast bond. This adhesive helps control the wicking that closes volume fans in low humidity.

Expert: Our bestselling adhesive is for lash artists in low to medium (30-60%) humidity, & artists who prefer an instantaneous grab.

Pro Plus:  A perfect option for artists who do a lot of volume lashes, it is a tiny bit thicker than Expert, and dries in about 1-2 seconds, just enough time to ensure a beautiful wrap of a fan around a natural lash. It is also great for classic artists who need 1-2 seconds to place their extension, and humidity that is medium to high (over 40-65%)

Pro:  Is best for newer stylists, sensitive clients, and humidity over 50%, though in high humidity if you are an experienced stylist you still may prefer Pro Plus.

All adhesives have great retention, low fumes, and are latex free. Each comes with a batch number on the bottom, and is delivered fresh to our climate controlled facility every 4-6 weeks to ensure we are providing you with fresh eyelash extension adhesive.

How long is the adhesive good for?

This depends greatly on many factors, mainly how often you open your adhesive. An adhesive that is used by a full time lash artist with approximately 30 clients per week will likely be needing to be replaced at the 6-8 week mark, because it has been opened so frequently. On the other hand, a lash artist who is seeing a handful of clients per week can get 3 months out of a bottle when stored correctly as it is not being opened as frequently. Due to the variety of climates, storage options, and stylist usage it is not realistic for us to give you a specific “use by” date. We always suggest writing your “opened on” date on the bottle.

How do I store my adhesive?

Room temperature is best, stored upright in a sealed container with the silica pack that is included in your package of adhesive. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing adhesives.

What is the difference between Mink and Silk lashes?

Both of The Lash Collection Mink and Silk lashes are made from high quality Korean PBT, soft, lightweight, and deep, matte black. Mink lashes come in all diameters for classic, as well as volume lashes, and have standard tape behind the lashes holding them onto the card. Silk lashes have a special tape that is made for stylists who create volume fans right on the strip. The tape is specific to the silk lashes, and works like a dream for stylists who create fans right on the strip. Silk lashes are also available in some speciality curls and diameters not yet available in mink lashes. I love, and use both depending on my mood. Between all the options of lashes with The Lash Collection, you have a multitude of options to customize to your every clients’ needs.

What is the difference between the different eye pads?

With a variety of client eye shapes, sensitivities, and preferences, stocking a well rounded supply of under eye patches is useful in client comfort, as well as stylist’s ability to perform our craft. We carry everything from Bio-Gel pads, an industry standard, which are great for stubborn lower lashes that won’t stay covered; to TLC gel pads, which are thin, comfortable for the client, and economical, & Ultra thin gel pads, which are whisper thin, soft and light with minimal gel. We also recommend keeping on hand 3M MicroFoam tape, which has zero gel or any possible irritant- great for extremely sensitive clients. We love to put a tiny swipe of Aquaphor on the MicroFoam to make it most comfortable for removal. All under eye pad options are latex free.

When will I get my order?

All orders received by 12pm EST will almost always ship out same day, via USPS. You will receive and email directly from usps.com with your tracking number. We pride ourselves on fast turn around, and try to deliver your products to you as quickly as possible.

I ordered the wrong thing, what can I do?

We urge you to open your package and look at it when you receive it. If you have purchased an incorrect item you can send it back to us if you notify us within 7 days of placing your order at info@thelashcollection.com. Due to health and safety of client’s eyes, we can only take back unused items in all of their original packaging.

My tracking says "delivered" but I don't have my order, help!

We totally understand how things can happen, but please know that once we have given your package to the post office, we can no longer be held responsible for what happens to your mail. If this happens, please contact your postal carrier to see if they can help you locate your package. We wish we could help with this, but it is no longer in our hands once they have control over your package.
